About Us

Somehow, Marc is the founder of this company. Marc started this endeavor in 2022, following a 2 year stint with the NYPD. He's had a few career changes over the years but he  began gaining experience as a construction helper for Pop when he was 13. Marc worked part time during summers and school vacations back when the Janus family was living in New Hampshire. After a few years of that and college, he became a personal trainer and stopped in Boston before moving back to New York. 

Once he gave up personal training, he went back into the trades. He spent time as a stair and railing installer, a framer, and a fire systems technician. Over the years he's learned every facet that can be applied to home remodeling, so he decied his next move was to be a cop. After that didn't work out he called Pop and decided it was time to build a family business and begin perfecting his craft from a master craftsman. 

So that's where we are. Marc is married to the beautiful and smart, Becca, and they both run their own enterprises. 

Pop, commonly referred to as Big Marc, has all the experience in the world. He started working in the construction trades in the 80's and has completed every job imaginable. He is a master at fixing problems no matter what the scenario calls for. That could stem from the variety of trades he began with, even becoming a business owner as a prominent fixer of gym equipment in the 90's. He held accounts with Madison Square Garden and the local pro teams, Cybex and a handful of high end businesses in the area. 

But in order to spend more time with his family, we relocated to New Hampshire and Pop left that all behind. He went back into carpentry and construction and refined his already abundant skills. He used raw timber to build beautiful decks, carved animals out of tile to be set in bathroom floors, and built a literal tree house that later became a guest house on a lake. Luckily for Marc and Nick, he did all this while raising them with Susette, their amazing Mom. 

And now he's here, passing all of that experience down and building a better future for everyone involved.
