About Janus & Sons

At Janus & Sons, we believe a home should be more than walls and a roof — it should be a reflection of your lifestyle, your values, and the memories you want to create with your family.

That’s why we approach every project with a dedication to true craftsmanship. Our team is made up of skilled builders who take pride in their work and treat every detail with care. We don’t cut corners or rely on shortcuts — instead, we use premium materials, proven methods, and expert hands to ensure your home is built to last.

From your first consultation to the final walk-through, our process is transparent and personal. You’ll always know what to expect, with open communication and clear timelines that keep your project moving smoothly.

What sets us apart is not only the quality of our work but the trust we build with our clients. Our reputation is rooted in local references, repeat homeowners, and a workmanship guarantee that gives you complete peace of mind.

For us, building dream homes isn’t just our profession — it’s our passion. We’re honored to create spaces that are as beautiful as they are enduring, designed for families who value both elegance and integrity.

Meet the Janus Family

Marc (on the left, the more handsome one) founded Janus & Sons after two years with the NYPD. Before joining the police force in 2020, he gained hands-on construction experience working on framing crews for high-end homes, building and installing staircases, and learning plumbing and electrical systems through fire alarm and sprinkler projects. Of course, his foundation in construction comes from school summers working alongside his dad, Dziadzi.

Although Marc valued his time as a police officer, he realized his true passion was in building. With his father’s decades of industry experience and his own diverse skill set, the two combined their strengths to launch Janus & Sons — a company built on craftsmanship, trust, and family values.

Now, Marc and his wife, Becca (who also helps the company in the office setting) are growing the company even further. The two are expecting their first child, a son of course, at the end of October.

Dziadzi (det-zi; grandpa) has been working with his hands since he was 16, building a lifetime of skill and experience. Ask him about it and he’ll happily share the whole story — though it’s too long to fit here!

Over the years, he’s trained under one of New England’s top carpenters, mastering the art of restoring century-old homes and barns by hand. He went on to become the lead carpenter for a company that specialized in framing and finishing luxury homes with live timber — a craft that demands both precision and creativity.

popToday, Pop leads the crew on site, passing down lessons and insights with every project. This fall, he’s looking forward to a new role outside of work too — welcoming his first grandson to the family.

Nick should be a cyber security guy for some company in the city, but he loves being able to come to work every day with his family. He also likes to play computer games in his free time, so we think he likes to be away from the screen while at work.

Lucky for his brother, Nick helps Marc with all of his, many, IT issues. nick But Nick has been gaining experience over the last three years, and his meticulous approach to buildinghas made him an irreplicable team member.
